White Lake, Michigan
White Lake is known as a four-season playground with good reason. Its proximity to the more bustling metro Detroit suburbs along with its ease of heading eastward down M-59 makes it a great destination for working and raising a family. Pontiac Lake Recreation Area and Highland State Recreation Area are within White Lake and have nearly 10,000 acres of park area including lakes, hiking and biking trails, cross-country skiing, camping, swimming and areas for picnics and playgrounds. It may sound rural but White Lake also has many great restaurants, stores and entertainment in around the township including bowling alleys, movie theaters and much more.
