Dearborn, Michigan
Dearborn is one of the top ten largest cities in the state of Michigan and boasts a population of around 96,000 residents. Located just west of Detroit and southeast of Livonia, this 24.5 square mile city has a rich history in the automobile industry and is still the headquarters for Ford. For the residents calling Dearborn home, they’ll find that they are literally minutes from the heart of downtown Detroit so if they work in the city or just heading out to catch a sporting event or concert, they won’t have to worry about a long commute.
Dearborn is home to the Henry Ford Museum which has many exhibits including a major transportation exhibit complete with a steam engine locomotive and a former president’s secret service car. Head outdoors to Greenfield Village and you’ll find a whole historical world of a nineteenth century village, reenactments and special events all year round.
