Milford is a historic small town nestled on the west side of Oakland County west of Commerce Township and north of Lyon Township. With its charming downtown area and closeness to such beautiful parks, Milford is an ideal place to call home. The downtown area offers boutique shopping and unique family-owned restaurants to accommodate a variety of taste buds. Milford frequently holds fairs and festivals in the downtown area including Milford Memories which is a large art fair that takes place every summer. Each week when in season, the downtown area hosts a farmers market.
For those who want to spend time outdoors, there’s Kensington Metropark which is a near 4,500 acre park with two beaches, water slides, a petting farm, paddling and swimming as well as hiking, biking and cross-country skiing trails.
