Auburn Hills
Auburn Hills is located in Oakland County and is just about 30 minutes north from the heart of downtown Detroit. Auburn Hills is just east of Waterford and north of Pontiac and is a great place to live and visit thanks to its multitude of activities. When you own a home in Auburn Hills, you’ll share the community with about 22,000 other residents and your children will attend one of three different school districts in the area: Avondale, Pontiac or Rochester.
The Palace of Auburn Hills is home to the Detroit Pistons and features some of the biggest music acts coming through town. The Great Lakes Crossing Outlet Mall is situated off of I-75 and features 185 stores and restaurants – 25 of which are the only locations in Michigan; there’s also a 25 screen movie theater within the complex. Oakland University has some of its campus and Chrysler’s headquarters are located in Auburn Hills too. This area is a prosperous business community featuring major technical parks and corporations.
