Holly, Michigan
Holly Township and the Village of Holly are located in the northern section of Oakland County. Dubbed “Up North in Oakland County” because of it looks and feels like an up-north community in the lower peninsula of Michigan, Holly is a great place to call home if you desire to be away from the city but still be close enough to enjoy what the suburbs and downtown offers. Jumping onto I-75, you can easily get to the heart of Detroit for a Tigers game in about 50 minutes.
Holly is perfect for those who love spending time outdoors. There are many lakes dotting the area as well as state and county parks. Such spots as Seven Lakes State Park, Rose Oaks County Park and Holly Recreation Area are close by offering thousands of acres of park land, marshes and water. You can hike, bike, swim, hunt, paddle, camp and much, much more.
Holly is a little over 36 square miles with a population of around 12,000 making it ideal for those who love nature and open spaces.
