Ann Arbor, Michigan
Ann Arbor is one of the more famous cities in Michigan because it’s home to the world-renowned University of Michigan. This Washtenaw County city ranks in the top five for population which has about 117,000 residents living within its 29 square miles. Where M-23, M-14 and I-94 all come together, Ann Arbor is found west of Ypsilanti and Plymouth. The list of things to do in Ann Arbor is endless. The U of M Campus is a great place to hang out and the city itself offers lots of unique restaurants, boutique stores and entertainment. The Ann Arbor Street Fair is one of the biggest around with hundreds of arts, craft and food vendors as well as music and entertainment for the whole family. This annual event draws in thousands from all over.
Ann Arbor is also a great place for those who love being outdoors. The walkable streets make for a fun day roaming around town but there are also plenty of parks and nature areas around the Huron River providing natural beauty of the woods and water making Ann Arbor more than just a college town.
